What are some cases in which EMF therapy on horses has shown to be effective?
1. A horse with wounds to the knees by being kicked by another horse and excluded from racing for six weeks - after treating it was allowed to race the following day.
2. Horse with marks and wounds on the skin from unknown dermatopathy cleared in two days in most parts. The bigger main wound was cleared by 80%. Unbelieveable and spactacular recovery of unknown dermatopathy.
3. A horse with a broken tenon which was considered unable to run and usless to race again, after two days treatments started exercising, and after a further one week was raceable with normal mobility.
4. Horse with spine problem was unable to carry a race. After being treated twice locally on the back, recovered completely.
5. Numerous other horses with various specified and unspecified conditions, broken tenons, leg problems recovered within a spactacular and unexpected short time.
6. Horse with post operative wounds which normally would close in a month, after being treated three times completely healed in three days.

How does PEMF reduce joint pain?
Located between our bones are cushions of cartilage, which prevent grinding of the bones. However, if the layers of cartilage wear out the bones begin to grind against each other causing extreme pain. Under normal circumstances the body replaces cartilage under control of tiny electrical signals which are created inside our body. Due to diseases -e.g. osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, aging or injury- the normal replacement of cartilage is disturbed, causing pain and inflammation.
Pulsating electromagnetic fields influence cell behavior by inducing electrical changes around and within the cell. Improved blood supply increases the oxygen pressure, activating and regenerating cells. Increased calcium transport stimulates the repair and growth of cartilage while at the same time decreasing pain dramatically. Treatment with Vet-Pulse triggers these tiny electrical signals around and within the cell thereby assisting regeneration of cartilege between the bones.

How does Vet-Pulse reduce back pain?
Vet-Pulse utilises Pulse Electromagnetic Field Therapy (PEMF) which has proven to be very effective for osteoporosis treatment by increasing blood supply oxygen levels, and activating and regenerating cells. This action results in improved calcium transport and better absorption of calcium in the bones and simultaneously decreases pain dramatically. In addition PEMF has been shown to increase of bone density, results in improved fracture healing and less risk of braking bones.
-
Can Vet-Pulse assist in bone non-union and fracture healing?
Vet-Pulse, through utilising PEMF has been proved to be very effective for healing of delayed bone non-union and for improved fracture healing. PEMF has shown to be beneficial in case of problematic fractures and fractures with a large gap. Treatment can also be performed in case there are implants at site.
-
Can Vet-Pulse treat sporting injuries?
Treatments with Vet-Pulse clearly demonstrate a dramatic reduction in pain and inflammation in treatment for sports injuries. Swelling is reduced fast and PEMF stimulates the body to repair damaged tissue thereby speeding up the healing process.
-
What about wound healing?
Pulsing electromagnetic fields improve peripheral circulation and oxygenation. This causes better transport of nutrients and improves wound healing. Simply put... Vet-Pulse heals wounds faster!
-
How long does a treatment session take?
Lengths of the programs vary based on the condition of the animal treated, however as a guide are usually between 20 and 30 minutes.
-
Are there any side effects from using Vet-Pulse?
No. Treatment with PEMF is a safe, effective means of addressing pain and healing.
Treatments on humans undertaken with our Impulse 4000 might feel some tingling due to improved circulation but this is not unpleasant and not a contraindication. Most people sit or lay back and relax during the therapy session. You can expect the same experience for your animal as they undergo a Vet-Pulse treatment.
-
What can be expected at a Vet-Pulse treatment?
When you see a Vet-Pulse practitioner the first time they will discuss concerns about the animal. The practitioner will review a health questionaire you have completed and make any further clinical notes. After assessment they will treat the animal with Vet-Pulse.
The practitioner will need to be present for the full duration of the treatment. In some cases the animal may appear worse after the treatment. This is nothing to be alarmed about – it is a good sign! It indicates that your animal is responding quickly and a change is occurring.
-
Can I use Vet-Pulse treatment on my cat?
